this year we started a new venture into grapes, and planted 40 vines of pinot noir, and 40 of chardonnay. if they do well with our soil conditions we'll likely add the same amount next year if not more.

this year we planted 12 more fruit trees, mostly pear, with some apple, peach and apricot mixed in. they should begin fruiting in the next couple of years, and likely will be used mostly for juice.
